Another Case of Animal Hoarding…
Roughly Twenty Starving Horses and Twelve or More Dead --

April 7, 2011, Roodhouse, Illinois

HARPS steps in to help Central Illinois Horse Rescue and Steve Alexander with the last three remaining stallions and one yearling colt that survived years of neglect standing in stalls, starving/ malnourished, wormy, and waiting for life beyond four dark walls.

Now under HARPS care in Barrington, IL these four lovely horses will find new hope and new homes. All four animals are currently in training and up for adoption, and thanks to Central Il. Horse Rescue, all fifteen other horses have been placed.

These soon to be gelded stallions who have incredible dispositions will make lovely riding horses and are looking forward to new lives.

Donations are desperately needed to help for training, farrier and vet care along with the many other horses and ponies up for adoption here at HARPS.
